Government Initiative to Boost IT Hardware Manufacturing
The government is expected to allocate a significant amount of Rs 7,500 crore for IT hardware manufacturing under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. This move aims to encourage foreign and domestic companies to invest in the sector, promoting growth and development.
According to sources, foreign companies looking to avail incentives under the scheme will be required to invest a minimum of Rs 500 crore over a period of four years. On the other hand, domestic firms will have a lower threshold, with a required investment of around Rs 20 crore over five years.
This initiative is expected to give a significant boost to the IT hardware manufacturing sector in the country, creating new opportunities for growth and employment. The PLI scheme has been instrumental in promoting domestic manufacturing, and this allocation is a testament to the government's commitment to the sector.
The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don't even notice it.
