Emami to Acquire 100% Stake in Axiom Ayurveda

Emami, a leading player in the Indian FMCG market, is set to acquire the remaining stake in Axiom Ayurveda, the maker of the popular Alofrut flavoured drink, for up to ₹200 crore, bringing its total ownership to 100%.

The acquisition is a strategic move by Emami to expand its portfolio of ayurvedic and natural products, and to strengthen its presence in the Indian beverage market.

Axiom Ayurveda, founded in 2015, has gained popularity in recent years with its range of ayurvedic beverages, including the Alofrut flavoured drink, which is made from natural ingredients and has no artificial preservatives or flavours.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in the next few weeks, subject to regulatory approvals. With this acquisition, Emami will gain full control over Axiom Ayurveda's operations, including its manufacturing facilities, distribution network, and marketing operations.
