Chhattisgarh Sets New Benchmark in Transparency
Chhattisgarh has achieved a remarkable 97% e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), a significant milestone in the state's efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in the implementation of the scheme.
The state government has also introduced QR-based transparency measures to further strengthen the system, enabling citizens to access information about the scheme and its beneficiaries with ease.
The MGNREGA, a flagship program of the Government of India, aims to provide a legal guarantee of employment to rural laborers, ensuring a minimum of 100 days of wage employment per household per year.
Chhattisgarh's achievement is a testament to the state's commitment to transparency and good governance, and is expected to have a positive impact on the effective implementation of the scheme, benefiting thousands of rural households across the state.
Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming.
