Chhattisgarh Sets New Benchmark in Transparency

Chhattisgarh has achieved a remarkable 97% e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), a significant milestone in the state's efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in the implementation of the scheme.

The state government has also introduced QR-based transparency measures to further strengthen the system, enabling citizens to access information about the scheme and its beneficiaries with ease.

The MGNREGA, a flagship program of the Government of India, aims to provide a legal guarantee of employment to rural laborers, ensuring a minimum of 100 days of wage employment per household per year.
